・ 1 can of GEISHA MANDARIN ORANGE 15oz(drained)
・ 1/4 cup(1.4oz) of Granulated sugar
・ 1 teaspoon of Lemon juice
Mash the mandarin oranges with your fingers and put them in a pot. Sprinkle granulated sugar and lemon juice evenly over the mandarin oranges and let sit for an hour.
Turn on the heat and bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium-low, then occasionally scoop out the foam.
Simmer for about 30 minutes until the mixture thickens, mashing it moderately. Use a spatula to scrape the bottom of the pot to see if it comes back in about 2 seconds. That’s the time you know it’s done.
