Fruit Pie
(Makes 8-10 Servings)

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) Geisha® Tropical Fruit Salad, well drained
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cup flour
  • Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp.salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup. pecans
  • 1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped

Preparation

  1. Sift flour wih baking soda, salt and granulated sugar.
  2. Add egg and mix until like fine crumbs. Add Tropical Fruit Salad and sliced apple. Pour into buttered 10-12 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees F .
  3. Cool. Top with whipped cream before serving.
