Shrimp Fried Rice
(Makes 4 Servings)


Geisha Tiny Shrimp
Geisha Mushrooms Sliced


Ingredients

  • 1 can (4 1/4 oz.) Geisha® Tiny Shrimp drained,
  • 1 can (4 oz.) Geisha® Mushrooms drained, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 4 Tbsp.vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
  • 1/4 dried bean curd
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 Tsp. ground black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 Tsp. sesame oil

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Set aside and allow rice to cool.
  2. Heat a large skillet. When the skillet is hot, pour in vegetable oil, Tiny Shrimp, Mushrooms, bean sprouts and green onions. Mix well and cook for another 4 minutes, stirring continuously, untl eggs are cooked and everything is blended evenly.
