In a saucepan, slowly dissolve the agar-agar in half the water over a gentle heat.
In a separate saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the remaining water over a medium heat
Add milk and almond essence, blending well, but do not boil. Mix Tropical fruit Salad, milk and sugar with agar-agar mixture in a large serving bowl
When cool, place in the fridge and leave for at least 2 to 3 hours to set.
